Shipping & Handling  Policy

  • Please allow 2-3 business days for order processing.
  • If a product is not in stock, we will contact you to provide timing of product availability and  shipping date.
  • Orders are only shipped Monday through Thursday.
  • Orders placed on Thursday afternoon through Sunday will be shipped out the following Monday.
  • All packages are shipped via 2-3 USPS Priority Mail.  Please call us if USPS Overnight Delivery is desired.
  • We DO NOT ship to  P.O. boxes.  Please provide a street address for your order.
  • We cannot guarantee delivery of orders on a specific day unless arrangements are made for USPS Overnight delivery.
  • We DO NOT ship outside of the CONTINENTAL U.S.
  • Please note that shipping costs are not refundable.

Shipping Rates:

Casa de Chocolates’ shipping rates are calculated based on shipping distance, weight and service type.  Extra ice-packs must be included in orders with destinations that have warm weather conditions.  If this is the case, we will contact customers over the phone to request payment of additional shipping costs not included in the original order.

Product Care:

  • Each Casa de Chocolates order is carefully packaged to minimize damage to contents and to ensure freshness, including the use of ice packs (as weather conditions may require) to make sure order arrive in perfect condition.
  • To prevent melting or discoloration, we recommend that all Casa de Chocolates products be stored in a dry place and kept cool (70° degrees or lower) upon arrival.
  • Products should never be left in direct sunlight.
  • You may refrigerate our dairy based products in an air tight container for a maximum of two weeks for optimal flavor.  Always remove products from refrigeration and allow them to reach room temperature prior to consuming them.
  • We do not recommend the refrigeration of our chocolate bars. Bar should be stored in a dry place and kept cool (70° degrees or lower) upon arrival.
